“When did I know?”
I was asked this question quite a few times. I knew when I first heard and saw a plane in the sky from the kinder garden. But when I first saw on TV the Space Shuttle landing some years later… I knew when I suddenly ran to catch a sheet of paper and started to draw what I was seeing on TV as best as I could !

On July 10, 2011, space shuttle Atlantis performed the nine-minute Rendezvous Pitch Maneuver, or “backflip.” With Commander Chris Ferguson at the helm, Atlantis rotated 360 degrees backward to enable space station crew members to take high resolution digital pictures of the shuttle’s heat shield. Les Olympiades spatiales mondiales « La course de relais étoilée » ont été lancées en 2010 à l’UNESCO, à Paris. Dès lors, plus de 50 000 personnes ont participé aux Olympiades en ligne sur le site Internet www.starchallenge.org. Des participants de Russie, d’Inde, d’Arménie, du Kazakhstan, de Belgique, de France, de Lituanie et d’Azerbaïdjan se sont qualifiés pour la finale.

Des cosmonautes russes m’ont dit qu’il serait bien de sauter en parachute pour devenir cosmonaute.
J’en ai souvent rêvé quand j’étais plus petite, mais toutes les conditions n’étaient pas réunies.
Avec le Centre de Contrôle de Moscou, j’ai organisé l’année dernière des liaisons radio et vidéo entre la Station Spatiale Internationale et les équipages des Marines française et étrangères. J’ai rencontré l’équipage d’un voilier 3-mâts britannique permettant à des personnes à mobilité réduite de travailler à égal avec les autres membres de l’équipage grâce à une multitude de systèmes ingénieux.

Pour développer leurs projets et soulever des fonds, la fondation britannique Jubilee Sailing Trust, propriétaire du voilier Tenacious, organise en partenariat avec les parachutistes d’élite du Régiment britannique des sauts en parachute. Coïncidence de la vie ou pas, je me suis décidée à tenter l’aventure avec eux, et grâce à eux, je sauterai en parachute pour une double bonne cause.

J’ai besoin de vous pour réunir les fonds qui iront à la fondation britannique. 5€, 10€, 5£, 10£… tous les montants sont les bienvenus. Toutes les petites briques sont essentielles. Au Royaume-Uni, c’est un système bien établi et j’en aime beaucoup le principe car tout le monde en ressort gagnant et cela donne un peu de soleil à chacun.

Я хочу сказать “Огромное спасибо!” всем, кто помогал мне, каждый по-своему, поддержал меня в этом проекте, в результате чего мне удалось провести прекрасный день в Англии с Воздушным Десантом Великобритании.

Я рада, что этим прыжком с британским воздушным десантом “Red Devils” (“красные дьяволы”) я смогла помочь юбилейному парусному фонду (Jubilee Sailing Trust) привлечением спонсоров, и я буду рада им помочь в дальнейшем.
